David and Karen Anderson chose to mark their forthcoming wedding with a woodland dedication and invited friends and family to contribute to an on-line group fund. The Fund reached £1,000, allowing them to dedicate an acre in Pressmennan Wood near Dunbar in East Lothian, Scotland.

David and Karen said: Instead of asking for wedding presents, we asked for donations towards a special dedication that not only marked our wonderful wedding, but also went to help the Woodland Trust which does some incredible work and which preserves some of the beautiful woodland near where we live.

And their son is in favour of their dedication in Pressmennan Wood too - as their photograph clearly shows
